Residential Program Coordinator
Residential Program Coordinator needed for group home(s) in Orlando serving individuals with developmental disabilities. The position includes facilitating the smooth operation and management of the residential homes, overseeing the Residential Managers to ensure they are maintaining a home-like atmosphere while fostering dignity and respect. Monitoring on-going documentation, to ensure all standards are met for licensing and state survey purposes, adjusting your schedule as necessary to make sure the needs of the residents and program are met. Provide in-service training, attend meetings and seminars, prepare reports, implement programs, recruit staff, prepare and disseminate corrective action (s) as needed and perform all other job duties assigned.
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Social Services, Psychology or related field required. A minimum of five years of supervisory experience, and a minimum of five years’ experience working with people with disabilities or in a similar field required. (Experience with APD licensed homes strongly preferred). Must be able to successfully complete a level 2 background screening and drug screening. Valid Florida license and clean driving record are required. This is a position that requires the person to be on call.
